Installing wine 1.1.6 from source in Ubuntu

Hi, I am having trouble installing this from source. I can't use any version from 0.9.4. to 1.1.5 because they have a bug with utorrent.

I am using Ubuntu desktop 8.04 hardy. I tried ./configure but got an error message. Any help is appreciated
