Your distro should provide that, not wine.I am trying to install wine on an Asus EEEPC 901. Every thing goes as
expected until I receive the following FATAL error.
What is the problem and what can I do about it?
If I then try winecfg I receive the error messages further down.
winefile appears to behave correctly but iexplorer remains blank even after
Gecko is installed. Notepad appears to work ok.

Setting up wine-bin (1.0.0-1+eeepc2) ...
FATAL: Module binfmt_misc not found.

Those errors aren't fatal, just means your distro's ALSA configurationSetting up wine-utils (1.0.0-1+eeepc2) ...

This happens when I try winecfg

is screwy. Does winecfg not work?
