Which version of Quicken? Apparently some versions work well, some not at all: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p ... on&iId=107

Also, 1.1.12 had some serious regressions; upgrade to 1.1.13 or downgrade to 1.1.11.

I am running Quicken Premier 2008. Much of it works. However, I cannot use online facility because it requires program registration. When you go register, you get a screen full of jibberish. Maybe a missing font. Fonts that do work aren't so clear either. I wonder if i could attach a screen capture? Not sure how to do it....

Put the screenshot on the pastebin web site and then give us a link to
it. Please do not attempt to post screenshots to the forum as this
sends messages around the world and some folks have limited bandwidth or
pay by the minute/byte for data.

Thank you.

I tried asking Intuit about Quicken for Linux, and discovered that
just asking them a question is near impossible:

Dothan:

You want me to walk over to them and ask them since I live in the city
where their headquarters is?

BTW, I don't think there is a Quicken for Linux. There is for the Mac
however.

Is the "fonts not so clear" problem only with Quicken? Does winecfg look okay? I mention it because there is a known bug in the legacy nVidia driver that messes up fonts in Wine, so if the problem is with all your Wine apps, it could be that.

If the problem is only with Quicken, try installing the MS core fonts.

Thanks James. I went to the pastebin website. I see no provision for uploading screen shots. It looks like it just handles text... Anyway, with Quicken 2008, the error message i get when trying to register the program is

Error
You must have Intenet Explorer Version 5.5 or later with 128 bit
encription installed in order to register Quicken.
Ok
