Hello, all.
Wine's Notepad captures my keyboard input perfectly, but nothing else does. All the software I've installed so far is silver-rated and up on the AppDB (except for some small programs that aren't even there... I'll add entries just as soon as I get this fixed). This includes, for example, Bulk Rename Utility, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne and World of Goo, all three of which have a Platinum rating.
If I run Wine through the terminal, I also get no terminal feedback from keystrokes. They simply don't register. My native applications all interact perfectly with my keyboard.
I'm running Wine version 1.1.12 on Ubuntu 8.10 64-bit edition, installed via the Wine HQ repository. This problem also occurred in Wine 1.0.1 and in every development version since 1.1.6, which was the latest when I started using the development versions.
Both my keyboard and mouse are USB, wireless devices. At first, I used a set (they had the same USB receiver) and thinking that this might have something to do with it I replaced the mouse (it was a battery hog anyways) for another one with a separate USB receiver. The problem still persists.
I have not yet filed a bug report, hoping that this might be a known issue with a simple fix, in spite of Google having turned up nothing on the subject.
Thanks in advance for any help. If there is additional information that I should have supplied but did not, please let me know. This is my first help request here in the forums.
Keyboard not recognized. Help, please.

Hmm. I don't see why that wouldn't work. File a bug please. It's a QWERTY keyboard, Brazilian ABNT standard layout. Sorry, I didn't think it would be important since keys aren't being captured wrong - they're just not being captured.
