Windows apps dont run after install

I have installed Wine 1.1.12 without error. I have installed windows visio program without error. When I launch visio nothing ever happens. Installed on Ubuntu 8.10
- the Intrepid Ibex - released in October 2008 Any suggestions?

What version of Visio? http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.p ... on&iId=119

Run it from a terminal and post whatever messages appear.

1.1.12 is broken, try 1.1.11, git, or wait for 1.1.13.
