How to replace application icon?

Post by Kiwinuck »

I've installed Tournament Indicator (poker hand analyser) but instead of the normal program icon, it has assumed the wine default wineglass icon. I know the location of the icon....so how do I assign that icon to the desktop?

In KDE, right-click on the desktop icon, select Properties, click on the icon on the General tab, and browse to the icon you want to change it to.
Gnome I don't really know, though I imagine it's something similar.

Thanks! I was confused by the Emblem setting. Clicking on the icon itself in the properties window brought up the browse window as suggested.
