Escape Key closes all programs?

Post by Invincibob »

I will say now, I am a noob, so please don't get mad about how stupid I sound. Whenever I try to run programs in wine, they work perfectly. My only problem is that when I need to use the escape key for something, it closes everything Wine is running! :( Is there any way to disable this?

What window manager? Do you have that key mapped to something in your WM?

I usually use Compiz, but I don't see what this has to do with the WM if it only happens in wine(then again I am a noob). Also, escape isn't set to do anything, Alt-f4 closes windows.

Try disabling it.

By disabling it, you mean use Metacity instead of Compiz, right? I'll try that.

No, this means using NO extenders, Compiz or Metacity to see if the
problem does not appear.
