No text or buttons/icons
Good morning. I have been having problems with WINE and not being able to see the text or buttons/icons at the top of the app, or when I open any of the tabs. I have the latest version of WINE and am still having the same problems. If I click on the individual tabs all I get is a quick view (faster then a blink of an eye) of the text, so I can not even configure WINE if I wanted to. Please help this is driving me nuts. I am using Ubuntu Intrepid 8.10 with the KDE add-on. This problem existed before I installed the KDE add-on. Thanks in advance for any help with this problem.

Are we to assume that you are talking about the Wine configuration application? You did not state this in your post. If I'm incorrect, please tell us the name of the application you are trying to use.Good morning. Are you using the legacy nVidia driver? If so it's this bug: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16146

I can also confirm this, no text on any buttons or tabs on the Wine configuration dialog screen, or when I try to install an app.
I am using Ubunto Intrepid, and the latest version of Wine.
Does anyone know if a bug has been reported for this issue?
EDIT: apologies, I submitted the last post after being away from my screen for a while - the reference to NVIDIA relates to me also. Thanks.
