Neither Wine-Doors nor PlayOnLinux are supported here. Ask in their support forums.

OK I INSTALL ONLY WINE...

Post by kykkus »

hi, sorry for the previous post... however i install only wine to day and i find the configuration for the game from this site:

http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Guild_Wars_on_Wine
And from your site.

but when i do this command for starting the game:
WINEDEBUG=-all wine "C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -windowed

i start, change the mouse's cursor do a black screen, but after a second, it return to the desktop.

Terminal give mi this error:

Mesa 7.0.2 implementation error: i915_program_error: Exceeded max temporary reg
Please report at bugzilla.freedesktop.org
DRM_I830_CMDBUFFER: -22

If i use that command:

wine "C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -windowed

the terminal give me this error:

wine "C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -windowedfixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x32ec20,0x00000000), stub!
fixme:d3d:IWineD3DResourceImpl_SetPriority (0x16996a0) : stub

Mesa 7.0.2 implementation error: i915_program_error: Exceeded max temporary reg

DRM_I830_CMDBUFFER: -22

But in this way i can see the login screen, without the background, where request nickname and password, but after a little time (but more long than before) it return to desktop...

What i can do?

Note:
Now my version of wine is: 1.1.5, because i ask to acer aspire forum and they tell me to install this version.

It appears that your desktop is crashing. This needs to be reported to the address given. This is not a Wine error message.
