Hello, I use Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon. I want to install Ubuntu-Touch on my new Smartphone OnePlus Nord N10 5G. Before installing Ubuntu-Touch, it is necessary to downgrade the Smartphone from Version Oxygen OS 11.0.4 to 10.5.7.
Therefore I downloaded and installed "MsmDownloadTool V4.0.exe".
MsmDownloadTool V4.0.exe is a Windows program, which has to be executed as admin.
I started MsmDownloadTool V4.0.exe with PlayOnLinux (32bit), but it couldn't find my smartphone, which was connect via USB-cable.
I would prefer to use my linux-PC to install Ubuntu-touch instead of searching for a windows-PC for installing Ubuntu-touch.
Any idea, how to execute MsmDownloadTool V4.0.exe from Linux Mint, so that the smartphone is found?
