I've created a package backporting ntsync module to trixie's 6.12 kernel and patched wine-devel packages with ntsync support. This gave me ~400% gain when playing Starcraft-2 on my old 2017 XPS-13 laptop (from ~30 to ~150 FPS on "lowest" settings at 1920x1080, so I was able to increase them to "medium" and got ~70 FPS then).

Your millage may vary of course: if you have a strong CPU (generally or relatively to your GPU) the gains will be much more modest.
