My application needs ie7 to be installed. I installed ies4linux(ie7 beta). But it is not able to recognize ies4linux. Is it possible that wine can access ies4linux registry?

If you have question and ies4linux is being used, please ask the creators of ies4linux. The hack they use on Wine is so wrong that the Wine community doesn't take responsability about anything going wrong with ies4linux and will avoid the question.
