Error message when visiting https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu.

Post by DrM1173 »

When I visit https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu in order to manually download specific Wine versions for using in PlayOnLinux or in any other Wine frontend, I get the following error message:

Code: Select all

-<Error>
            <Code>NoSuchKey</Code>
            <Message>The specified key does not exist.</Message>
            <Key>wine-builds/ubuntu</Key>
            <RequestId>1DBVQH2EWEGHGC1W</RequestId>

            </HostId>
</Error>
Until a days weeks ago I was indeed able to browse and to manually download specific binary Wine builds on this website, but why has this feature of manually downloading specific Wine builds been removed and can this above-mentioned error be fixed?

I use Linux Mint 20.3 Xfce with Firefox version 137.0.2.

Addendum:

At https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/w ... ll_Wine.3F I read this:
Where can I find old Wine binary packages?
Old WineHQ binary packages are kept in their respective directories in the the WineHQ download server.
Consult your distro for information on obtaining old versions of distro Wine packages.
The WineHQ download server from which you can download older binary Wine packages is at https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds, this site which now gives this above-mentioned error.

I hope that this error will be fixed very soon, so that we can easily download older binary Wine packages again.

PS. Is it possible to move this forum thread to the subforum 'Website Issues', because it is a website issue.
