Hello,
I'm using WINE 10.0 on macOS 14.6.1. I noticed that WINE does not recognize key release events in the following scenario:
Step 1: Activate a WINE application. In my test, I start 'wine regedit'.
Step 2: Press and hold a key, for example CTRL or SHIFT.
Step 3: Using the mouse, click on another macOS window, for example Finder.
Step 4: Release the key again.
Step 5: Go back to the WINE application.
Thereupon the WINE application behaves as if the key was still pressed. To restore the correct functionality, the user has to tap the keys.
This behavior is not observed on the Linux version of WINE. It seems to be a macOS related peculiarity. Does anyone have an idea how to solve the problem?
Thank you!
Michael

confirmed keys also stuck on Wine-staging 10.5, you might want to open a bug in https://bugs.winehq.org/
