Strange Bug related to a popup when running applications with WINE

Post by JohnTamale »

First, the information:

Operating System: Nobara Linux 41
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.9.0
Qt Version: 6.8.1
Kernel Version: 6.12.7-200.fsync.fc41.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 32 × Intel® Core™ i9-14900K
Memory: 62.5 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090/PCIe/SSE2
Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
Product Name: Z690 AORUS PRO
System Version: -CF

Wine version: wine-9.22 (Staging)

The problem.
When running certain applications on the main WINE prefix, a popup prompt appears with the title of "FILES NEEDED"
Then the file its requesting is c_037.nls
The problem is, the file is indeed in the prefixe's directory.
Selecting it or using any other prefix's file and then clicking ACCEPT, will say "installation failed".

Repeat the cycle every time WINE is booted up.

Any suggestion?
