Plugin knobs no longer move in REAPER since 9.22 staging update

Hello, to be honest I'm disheartened....

I had my setup working and after 9.22 staging install plugin knobs are no longer working.

I solved months ago this thing, it was about not having dxvk configured.

Since then, I think I had only occasional hiccups, shortly solved because it was something stupid.

This time, I can't figure out what's going on

Debian 12, Wine 9.22, REAPER 7 native, Yabridge 5.1.1.

Everything was working before updating to 9.22. Now trying to revert to 9.21 and see that happens, but I'm afraid in the meanwhile I tweaked a lot and my prefix could be screwed.

Sorry for the rant, this Wine thing sometimes truly seems a puzzle pyramid made of glass pieces...

Ok, I reinstalled the DXVK dlls and rebuilt the overrides in winecfg, back to 9.21 and at least knobs are working again now.

But, even with DXVK "fixed", 9.22 is not ok. It's like it's not dealing well with DXVK anymore.

It really feels like walking on eggs... Kinda messy and convoluted for sure, this definitely shouldn't be so tricky

I have the same problem but it's not that knobs don't move at all. It's just that the mouse pointer position is not the same as the knob's screen position - or being reported incorrectly. When clicking some random spots inside a plugin window, you may 'accidentally' click a knob that's not under the actual mouse pointer.

It may still have something to do with DPI scaling that was introduced in Wine 9.17 - and has not really been working well since then.

Back at 9.21 for me, too...

Had the same issue. had to downgrade to 9.21 and then hold the package.

Wine 10 stable is here... anybody tried already if things got better?

No, the issue persists with v10.0. Keep using v9.21 for now.
