pasting image in IrfanView

There is an issue preventing pasting images in IrfanView.
It does resize the canvas for the image size, but no image, though.
I've tried pasting in other apps, like office and it works fine.
Any clue?

Sounds like bug 54501

From the bug report:

In 4.62 IrfanView introduced a new option, which is enabled by default:
Options -> Properties/Settings -> Viewing
-> Apply PNG/TIF/TGA/DDS/EPS/RAW (or Edit->Paste) alpha transparent color

This combines a clipboard pasted 32BPP image coming with an Alpha channel with the window color.

If this option is disabled, pasting works.
