While using Wine 5 stable, I noticed that the file iclacs.exe, included in the package, is flagged as potentially malicious by ClamAV (as Win.Malware.Trickbot-10018337). To double-check, I uploaded it to VirusTotal, and multiple antivirus engines there also flagged it as a virus, associating it with various threats.
Since I’m sure that iclacs.exe is part of Wine’s official repositories, I’d like to ask:
- Could this be a false positive?
- Is there any known reason why this file might be flagged as suspicious?
- Could it be an issue of compromise?
