Lightwave lincense and wine 9

Hi, good day...
The fisrt thing i need to say is that i'm pretty noob so i know nothing about technical details...
This license problem on Wine was "solved" on wine 7 years ago, I'm talking about this problem: https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id ... tach_71853
But i tried to do the same in my linux installation and it didn't worked because when i open winetricks it says something about that wine 7 versions not being compatible with my linux (Linux Mint 22, cinnamon) it also overwrote my wine installation so it created a mess -.-" but anyways, my main question here is: would be too much bother if this patch is implemented in wine, like forever? in an official installation?

So... No future for this? I can not switch to Linux just for this (and a couple of other but less important) program

I'll try to rebase the patch soon(ish), although you'll probably need to build from source for that.

It *should* work, although no guarantees. I need more time to properly rework it, and I currently don't have that.
