Peachtree 2003 Backup Restore Problem

I have just installed Peachtree 2003, on Wine 1.0.1, installation and registration went flawlessly. But now when I try to restore my peachtree backup file (".ptb"), it gives me an error saying that "this is not a valid peachtree backup file", can anyone help me as to what I am doing wrong. I am currently running Wine 1.0.1 on Ubuntu 8.10
