Getting paint.net to work?

Hi, I'm an avid user of paint.net, and the only reason I'm not switching to Linux is because of it. You can't use paint.net with Wine, no matter how hard I've tried. Default settings, it says to run on Windows 11. Telling Wine to run Windows 11, a whole bunch of errors come up until you close it. Is there any progress at all to getting paint.net on Wine?

test if paint.net version 3.5 is good enough for you

according to appdb it works more or less
