I'm new here but long time Wine user. Recently I watched this video about running Windows apps with Wine on Linux Experiment channel and it made me wonder if the WineHQ community ever considered to create some kind of "Port to Wine" open letter.
The idea is to make an open invitation for that big Windows software companies (like Adobe, Corel and AutoDesk) to make their software compatible with Wine. Theoretically it would be much easier to make a "Wine port" instead of a native Linux port, so it would be an cheaper way for them to have a Linux version for their software.
What do you think about it?
