"Broken NVIDIA RandR detected"

I get the error:

I tried following https://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#Broken_NVID ... _RandR_1.0 but now instead of `RandR` error I get `<no_output>` error, and Xorg adds a third monitor to my computer (which doesn't exist). Plus I can't hardcode my monitors in a file, I frequently pull a 3rd one in and out.

Is there another way to fix this please?
