Why would you want to hide the C drive? Windows programs need that.

Well, it's not displayed under Linux, it's only used inside Wine.

you understand it's not your C: drive, it's merely the root of your current WINEPREFIX, right? I'm not sure if un-mapping it would break anything, but all drives are just symlinks, under your $WINEPREFIX/dosdevices... I'm guessing it symlinks c:->../drive_c/ so break that link... if things don't work afterwards, whoops! put it back. (you can also configure this if you prefer a GUI to console with winecfg)
