I have used Wine in the past with no issues installing old Windows 98 programs onto a 64 bit Linux system. I'm currently running Linux Mint 21.1 Vera. Wine 6.0.3 is installed and operational, but when I opened up an .exe' to install, there is not enough room for me to enter the products serial number. I noticed that in the Wine configuration settings that I can't select a version older than Windows 7 to emulate. I thought that this might be the problem?
Can anyone please help me?

Can you give an example of a program that is affected?there is not enough room for me to enter the products serial number
