Hi,

Thanks

WineHQ has three versions/ branches of Wine:
- stable
A new version will be released at the beginning of the year. Throughout the year, improvements may happen.

- development
This is where Wine's development takes place. A version is released every two weeks with the latest changes.

- staging
This contains changes that are not yet ready for the development branch.

Wine's source code is public, so other developers also make changes to Wine and call it Caffe, Lutris or Proton.
Because some software works better with another version, there are programs, such as Bottles, Steam and Lutris, that allow the user to switch between the different Wine versions (the runners).

For example, in Bottles, you can choose Vaniglia as a runner. This is the WineHQ staging branch.
