I reported a bug in Bugzilla and it hasn't been fixed yet. What now?

Since I'm new to Wine, I would like some guidance here. I report this bug https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52974 and it has been almost half-year without any action on it. Is that normal? I'm not complaining; I'm just trying to figure out how things work.

I looked at your bug-report and the menus seem to work normally if you disable "Allow the window manager to control the windows" in winecfg → Graphics

Yes, but that is just a workaround with side effects to it.

Turning on a virtual desktop also seems to help. Please also include this information in the bug report.
This will probably help the developers figure out which part is at fault.
