Unable to Install Descript

Hello,

I am unable to install Descript onto my Ubuntu.

System information:
Ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS 64bit
Radeon RX 570 Series (POLARIS10, DRM 3.42.0, 5.15.0-46-generic, LLVM 12.0.0)
AMD® Ryzen threadripper 1950x 16-core processor × 32
47.0 GiB of RAM

Hi,

You should upgrade your wine-version, from 5.0 to more resent version like wine-7.16 or 7.0 if you prefer stable.

I gave it a try from https://electron.descript.com/Descript% ... 0824.4.exe and it starts here into the login screen. You`ll likely also need "winetricks arial d3dcompiler_47". I also tried to login using my google-account but somehow that stalled, not sure if that`s a problem on my side; needs more testing I guess. Good luck
