How can we recreate the "wine-extension-*.desktop" files that can be found in "~/.local/share/applications" ?

Post by Opako »

Hello

The wine "wine-extension-*.desktop" files in the folder "~/.local/share/applications" correspond with the entry-list in the file manager, when we right click on a file (for example MyFile.docx) and choose "open with another programme".

The "wine-extension-*.desktop" files are created automatically by a wine prefix, when we install a new programme in the wine prefix.

Question:
Is there a way to recreate/refresh/overwrite all this "wine-extension-*.desktop" files, without deleting and installing the programmes in this wine prefix new?

Is there any command for this?

Thank you.
