hi! I am a box64 tester, its an emulator for arm64 to run x86_64 software. the thing is... many arm distributions do not support multiarch, and wine 7.0 release overview said that wine would be able to run x86 windows software without multiarch, just as a 64 bit process. without that we need the box64 little brother, box86 and multiarch.
on the download section winehq still suggest to add 32 bit support and the latest releases still provide full blown 32 bit executables like wineserver.
will be possible anywhere in time to accomplish what wine7.0 release 'promised'. I understand this is a pure open source effort. but we never got what was promised there and I and the box64 developer are a bit confused about what happened to that..
thanks in advancee!!!

Re: wine 7.0 wine64 being able to run 32 bit apps
The framework to make this possible is available in Wine 7.0.
Now all DLL files need to be modified to enable the new wow64 build.
For more information I recommend to read the topic on the wine-devel mailinglist about this.
