Is there a workaround for losing window manager control?

Hey,

For my program to run flawless, I need to uncheck Allow the window manager to control the windows. But now, I lost the possibility to use alt+tab list or task bar. Is there any workaround?

Ps1: I'm using Wine 7.5 on EndeavourOS.
Ps2: The reason I need to uncheck the settings in winecfg is because of this bug viewtopic.php?f=8&t=36332
