Directmusic needed for Empire Earth

Im trying to make Empire Earth work on 6.0.2 wine. Same error as this viewtopic.php?f=8&t=35965

I try

WINEPREFIX=${HOME}/EmpireEarth WINEARCH=win32 winetricks directmusic

But first command tells me not found

I have no idea where 'fakeroot' comes from?
Which Linux distribution do you use? How did you install Wine?

It is exagear, the windows emulator made with wine 6.0.2 . I just need a more step by step how they make EE work on wine..The Exagear has fonts, dot net 2.0 vcr2013 etc installed. Maybe it doesnt have DirectMusic?

The game was made to work on wine, I get the same error as this guy who uses Wine, never mind that this is exager, the error is still a wine error:

What are the command to install this directmusic properly? In the terminal I could run winetricks directmusic not the full command with the WINEPREFIX and it installs (or so I think)

Sorry, I have no experience with Exagear and I couldn't find any documentation online either.
It looks like the combination of Exagear, winetricks and the WINEPREFIX variable is not functioning properly.
If you can find the developers of your Exagear version, you can report this bug.
Maybe a workaround is to install everything in the default prefix first and then rename the prefix as desired.

Well then let's forget about Exagear until the mentioned dev fixes it. Im willing to try it on Wine Android version whichever new. The errors and fixes seem to be the same as Wine on computer. But being new I would prefer a step by step guide. EE is proven to work.

It needs Directmusic which can only be installed with Winetricks.

Can a step by step be guide be given perhaps even a common guide for GPU and sound drivers and what not is needed for games from WinXP time? If that page for EE gave the steps to do it, would be much appreciated

No im now on Android 12. Wine Android does not work v 6.2 or 7.0. So Exagear for now only way. Ah how come no one else working on exagear, it is very promising for android

Still, methods are more or less same. Idk enough to fix such prefix and install issues
