I need a little bit of handholding. I'm tackling what seems to be one of the perennial windmills to tilt at ... getting Paint Shop Pro to run under Wine. I've gotten Paint Shop Pro X to start, worked though the loading issues, and now need to get the Protexis license service to run. I'm having difficulty understanding exactly how to get any service to run persistently under Wine.
So help ...
1) I import the keys from HK_KEY_LOCAL_USER ->Software->Protexis using regedit
2) I create a directory under C:\Program Files\Common Files\Protexis\License Service that contains PsiService_2.exe and Psi_33001.dll
3) Issue some command to Wine to make PsiService_2.exe run as a Windows service
4) wine Paint\ Shop\ Pro\ X.exe
Can anyone provide some details on step 3?
