Win32 tooltips steal focus from parent window

On Wine 7.2 staging, whenever I hover over anything & show its tooltip (if applicable), it will take focus from the window that spawned it. This is inconvenient because I have to return to the window and make sure not to hover over anything with a tooltip while I type or something. Anybody know of a fix?
