Steam question

Hey,

Running Ubuntu 8.04... 32 Bit

Cpu: AMD 64 6400x2
Mem: 4GB
Graphics: 8800GTS


Okay.. So i got steam... I try and launch it. I get this:
*Already Installed*

ERROR

Steam.exe (main exception): Cannot open blob archive file: CMultiFieldBlob (mem-mapped File): Failed to mapviewoffile....

I have no clue what that is or how to fix it???

Any Ideas??

I'm guessing you are trying to run steam from a NTFS partiton. And this DOES NOT work.
