mint 20.1

I am brand new to Linux, so I just downloaded version 20.1 codename ulyssa, and it seems like Wine won't work as there is no repository yet for this new version. Is there a work around for this? I am hoping to begin using wine to install some programs on my new computer.

Mint uses Ubuntu packages. https://wiki.winehq.org/Ubuntu

I understand that, but the repository listed is for "focal" and mine is "ulyssa" after researching online, it looks like that is the issue. Am I missing something else?
