problem with open gl mode in counterstrike 1.6

whenever i switched to open gl mode in CS1.6 it shows that "This mode is not
supported ,now application will run in software mode".i dont know what to
do.
i have
945 gb mother board,intel original,2 gb ram,with no graphics card,my monitor
is old that is LG CB553H-NA.is there any problem with the monitor.please
help me out.

This means that the Intel Linux drivers do not support Open GL, which is quite likely.
