Crossloop chat window not working

Post by tosho »

Hi,

today I tried to install crossloop with wine.
The client function works fine, but the chat window doesn't. When someone from the crossloop site tries to start a chat with me I only get an empty window.
Any ideas?

I am using the latest wine provided with debian testing.

btw. at the CrossLoop entry in the wine appdb (here http://appdb.winehq.org/screenshots.php ... VersionId= ) a complete windows desktop is shown (it's even Vista). How is that done? I only get single windows but no desktop.
Can someone point me to a tutorial how to do this?

Thanks for any hint.

Update:
After completely removing wine (and my .wine directory) and reinstalling wine and fakeIE the chat window apperars and looks good
BUT
when I type in some text it is neither copied to the chat history (the upper part of the windo) nor is it transmitted to the client.
If the client (which uses Windows) tryes to send some text it is copied to the client's history but not transmitted to me.

Is there any thing that I have to install additionaly (maybe the riched component)?
