Wine 5.0 in Opensuse Leap 13.2 does not work

Post by jcaser1948 »

I made a clean installation (not the Home Directory where I keep the .wine directory and the istalled Windows programms)
I get the following error
jcaser@localhost:~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/mp3DirectCut> wine mp3DirectCut.exe
wine client error:0: version mismatch 595/596.
Your wineserver binary was not upgraded correctly,
or you have an older one somewhere in your PATH.
Or maybe the wrong wineserver is still running?
I have instaled wine and wine-32 istalled and uninstalled several times, to no avail. What do I wrong?

Thanks in advance

OpenSUSE 13.2 predated the "Leap" designation and has been out of support for years. If that's not a typo, you need to upgrade your OS.

Sorry
I made a mistake. It should read Leap 15.2, the latest distribution of Opensuse Sorry again
