Google Earth 7.3.2: Search function shows no results

Hello,
I have issues to get the Google Earth search function to work, while running under Wine.
I have seen in previous posts, that the same issue has occurred before. And the usual workaround was to install msxml3 with winetricks. I have done so. However I still cannot make searches in Google Earth.
To be more specific, I can search for for example places, but I do not get any results.
I am fairly new to Linux and using Wine, so I would be very happy if someone could help me.

Why don't you use the native Linux version?
