"Cannot write key"

On Ubuntu 18.04.3LTS while trying to get wine installed i get stopped at the first step, i cant get it to download the key using wget

winehq.key: Permission denied

Cannot write to ‘winehq.key’ (Success).

Not sure whats happening here or how to fix it. and im guessing linux has nothing in the way of a normal package file you just click to install.

Make sure you're running that command in a directory your user has write access to?
