MS Office 2003

Dear all,

I already install ms office 2003 on my ubuntu 8.04.1 using wine 1.0
from repository. Installation running well no error but when execute
excel program running and office dialog is freeze also excel can not
close. I'm using wine 1.0.

Is there any setting I miss.

Upgrade to 1.1.4. If the problem persists, post console output.

Is this to a clean wineprefix--one with nothing else installed and no overrides set? If not, delete or rename ~/.wine and try again. Do not set any overrides. A new /.wine will be automatically be created when you run setup.exe.

Hi dimesio.

Setup running well and complete without any error, but menu for
microsoft office not appear on wine or office menu.

More hints please.
