So- When I instal a program, it goes to C:\programfiles whatever
But where is the REAL location of all the files it just installed?
I have a game I need to put a cracked .exe in place of the real one, and I dont know where the real one is.

Look in your default WINEPREFIX which is ~/.winesageseeker wrote:So- When I instal a program, it goes to C:\programfiles whatever

I'm not entirely sure what that means... I use gnome and have been trying to go through the GUI for this. So- where is it in the file browser?
/usr/lib/? I dont know where to find it. I have the replacement .exe on my desktop, but I dont know where the real .exe is.
Sorry for stupid questions. The upshot is I should only have to ask this once.
