Visual C++ Redistributable will not download/install

After days of digging and changing everything possible I am finally able to run the game.exe and get it to the point where it would begin installing.
During the install it asks to download the C++ packages, successfully downloads then fails the installation.

Is there a way to manually install the redistributable packages to the virtual drive or a simpler fix to my problem?

I appreciate any help.

Looks like you broke your WINEPREFIX, did you try a fresh one already? Just changing stuff until it finally works is normally a bad idea. Maybe we could try to find out what actually causes the problem, so you can only apply that one change.
What exactly is "game.exe", do you have another thread about that already? If not, can you tell us about it? Because without knowing what it's about it's hard to help.
