Wine Explorer: Copying Files

Hello, I am very new to Wine and PC Gaming, and I decided to use Wine to get Windows Steam on my 2012 Macbook to play games. I really want to play Dark Souls, but in oder for it to actually look good I need to first install the mod DSfix. I downloaded the mod, and I need to paste the files from the zip file of the mod into the games data file, but I cannot access the game's data file from the Mac. So, I went into the Wine Explorer to try and copy and paste the mod files in and, while I can see that the mod files are there, I cannot copy and paste them where they need to be no matter what I try. Essentially, the actual game files are completely invisible to my Mac's Finder because they are running from wine, and I can't move any files around in the Wine Explorer in order to put the mod files where they need to be. I'm very confused and would appreciate any help, thanks!
