Hi there,
I just downloaded on old version of the PC game Driver (1999) and installed and played it through Wine.
While playing the game, there was a flicker noticeable from the game’s loading-screen on top of the game. It didn’t bother me, until I force quit the game and Wine and the flicker was still there.
Even when I rebooted my Macbook Pro several times, the flicker is still on the screen.
I’m running a Version 1.8-rc4 (1.8-rc4) of WineBottler on a MacbookPro Retina 15”, mid 2014 / Yosemite 10.10.4
Any ideas on how to solve this? I'm getting a little nervous here that the flicker won't disappear.

Winebottler is not supported here; this forum is for plain Wine only.
Wine cannot cause your screen to flicker when it is not running. While it's possible there could be processes left running after force quitting the game, there is no way they could still be running after rebooting. I doubt Winebottler could cause a problem that would persist after rebooting either, but since it includes modifications that are not part of plain Wine (which is why it's not supported here), I can't say that for certain. You need to ask for help through Winebottler's support channels if you really think it caused the problem.
