Steam Error

When i installed Steam, it worked fine but when i tried to launch it i got this error
Fatel Error: Coulcd not loard module 'bin/vgui2.dll'
and it doesn't launch any help would be much appreciated.

btw i am using newest wine available though the Wine Repository.

How are you starting it? Have you read howto on AppDB for steam?

Hi Melenor.

Did you just double-click on it? I had an issue with that too...

Did you try to cd do the steam dir and, then run wine steam.exe?

I also remember that I had some issues getting all of this inside of a bash script, it'd always seemt o get the error, but now it works.
