Where is the wine directory?

Newbie here. Instructions for installing the gecko files say put it in usr/local/shares/wine -- but that directory doesn't exist.

Also need location of .wine to build path to program I want to run.

Wine appears to be installed but clicking on it in Dash does nothing.

Create it.

It's a hidden directory in your home directory, but it won't be created until you actually run something in Wine. Running wineboot is sufficient to create it.
