With my first Thread i also got a question. I am using Wine with some Progs i was taking over from old Windows Times. On of it is Mirc. After the installation i also installed the shortcut to desktop as i was used to from Windows.
In Wine/Desktop i now have two files.
1. *.lnk
2. *.desktop
My question now is how to execute this files?
Thanks for helping
Edit: My fault. Before i forget. I am running wine on OS X El Capitan
exe program installed - *.lnk
Re: exe program installed - *.lnk
AFAIK, .desktop files don't work on Mac OS X and .lnk files don't work anywhere.

You didn't say where you got Wine from; if you are using the WineHQ packages, you should be able to just double-click the .exe to run it. https://wiki.winehq.org/MacOSX

Re: exe program installed - *.lnk
exe are running. I am using kinda mIRC Client with Mirc called NNScript thats pointing to mIRC. In Windows its "C:\my_Folder\nnscript\mirc.exe -r"C:\my_folder\nnscript\nnscript"
Is there a way to use this with wine too?
