Help fixing wine bug (DirectX 9), willing to pay!

Post by hcorion »

Hi All,
So I originally did a post here: viewtopic.php?t=26045 and I was directed to post a bug.
I then posted a bug report here: https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40045
I had originally thought it was to do with Direct3D, but Alistair Leslie-Hughes made a post (is that what you call it on bugzilla?) and concluded that it actually had to do with dinput.
So, that is where I’m at. I do have the download for the program up on the bug report.
Would anybody be interested in fixing this bug? If you’re interested in fixing this bug and receiving payment, do mention what you think would be a fair price. If you can, it would be amazing if you could give an ETA of approximately how long it should take to fix this bug.

Hi, why don't you use the hack attached at the end of the bugreport. That`s for free ;) Did you try it?

As far as I can see from the last comment, and the fact that native dinput didn`t work around the bug, it might be a focus-issue, that is not easy to resolve.

Hi, I did apply the patch, and it worked wonderfully! I've just been busy, and unable to update. I am very grateful for the patch.
